An Easy Waterfall

Dansulan Falls is a waterfall in Pilar, Bataan, about a 10 to 15 minute drive from Mt. Samat National Shrine. It is the easiest waterfall you will ever visit. This is hardly a hike at all.

Getting There

From the parking area there is a paved path down to the falls, and it is not hilly. There are a few steps and a few rocks near the end, and the registration area has a pink roof. It takes about five minutes to walk from the car park to the waterfall, and not even that if you are in good shape.

At The Falls

I was there in the dry season, at the start of summer, when waterfalls can dry up a little, but this one still had a fair amount of water gushing down. There are picnic tables set up right in front, so you can sit and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with the waterfall in view. If you want to explore, you can pick your way over the boulders along the river, though it is a bit of a challenging walk and there is not much further downstream.

Dezza’s Tip

Do the shrine early in the morning, then come here, bring a picnic lunch and relax for a couple of hours.
