Caraga, also known as Region XIII, covers the north-eastern corner of Mindanao and its islands. It has five provinces: Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur, with Butuan City as the regional centre. It is where you will find the surf island of Siargao, along with rivers, marshes and a long Pacific coastline.
