BARMM, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, is a self-governing region in the south-west of Mindanao. It covers the provinces of Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur and Tawi-Tawi, plus the cities of Cotabato, Lamitan and Marawi. The regional government works from Cotabato City. Travel conditions here vary, so always check current official advisories before you plan a trip.
