Cagayan Valley, also known as Region II, sits in the far north-east of Luzon between the Sierra Madre and the Cordillera mountains. It covers five provinces: Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino, with Tuguegarao City as the regional centre. The mighty Cagayan River, the longest in the country, runs right through the middle of it, and Batanes is the northernmost province of the Philippines.
Explore Cagayan Valley
My time in Cagayan Valley has been in Nueva Vizcaya so far, and there is much more of the region still to explore. More to come.
