Western Visayas, also known as Region VI, is the western end of the Visayas. It covers five provinces: Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras and Iloilo, with Iloilo City as the regional centre. Boracay, in Aklan, is the headline act, but there is far more to this region than white sand.
