Duli Beach is Palawan’s best-kept surf secret – a long, wide stretch of golden sand with consistently better waves (1-2m) than the more popular Nacpan Beach nearby. At over 2km long, there’s plenty of room even when the rest of El Nido feels busy. Water sports rental is available on the beach for those who want to get in the water beyond swimming.
The only accommodation directly on the beach is Duli Beach Resort – a small, Dutch-owned property with around 8 open-front bungalows facing the water. It’s a genuinely low-key setup, which is part of the appeal.
Dezza’s Tip
This is a relatively easy day trip from El Nido town proper, but just like Nacpan Beach, be prepared for a bit of rough and tumble. Once you get off the main highway, the road to Duli Beach is unpaved, dusty, and very bumpy for about 4-5km.
How To Get There
Fly direct with AirSWIFT (Manila → El Nido, ~5 flights/day) or fly PAL to Puerto Princesa (2x daily, ~50 min) and take the 5-6 hour van from there to El Nido. From El Nido town: hire a van/car for the ~25km, 45-50 minute trip (around ₱1,500/day, haggle) or take the cheaper tricycle option.
